Todd and Mari Gutschow Family Foundation

Dear friends,

It is with great sadness, I am writing to share that our friend, founding board member, and champion for the Classroom of the Future Foundation (CFF), Todd Gutschow, passed away on the morning of Wednesday, May 31st.

CFF is indebted to Todd and his family for their tremendous support of our organization over the last 20 years.  From the construction of the San Diego County Office of Education’s Joe Rindone Technology Center to the TIME Initiative to the creation of the annual Innovation in Education Awards, Todd was central to every big idea and project that CFF acted upon.

Without question, our organization and the public education landscape in San Diego County would not have been the same without Todd. He believed deeply in our mission and was an advocate for bringing greater innovation to education. We look forward to carrying on his legacy, embodying the visionary and leadership qualities that Todd demonstrated, and doing even more to serve students and educators. That is our commitment to you as we work through this very difficult time.

You can read his obituary and find more information about memorial services here in the San Diego Union-Tribune.

Thank you for your prayers for the Gutschow Family.

Sincerely,

James Wright and the entire CFF team
