A Holiday Message from the CEO: Support Teachers. Prepare Students. Give this Holiday Season
The holidays are here!
It’s a time for families coming together and celebrating all the good in our lives. As I think about our local community, I feel strongly that we have a lot to be thankful for – especially when it comes to our educators. San Diego County is home to some of the most innovative school districts in the nation, some of the most impressive administrators, and some of the most passionate, hardworking teachers. If you see an educator this holiday season, say thank you! We truly appreciate all they do for our students and our community.
I am excited to share that our supporters will have the opportunity to support the Classroom of the Future Foundation (CFF) and the people we serve in some new ways this holiday season. Today we launched our Annual Holiday Campaign, an effort to sustain existing programs and expand services as the need grows.
Earlier this week, CFF announced a new five year plan to achieve our vision: every student is prepared to pursue their dreams. In order to meet our priorities to become a resource for information about innovative practices that promote personalized learning and the effective use of technology in the classroom, as well as a leader in establishing more career pathway opportunities for students, we need your help.
Through a highly organized partnership model, every dollar donated goes to support our efforts to empower educators and prepare our students for the workforce. Your financial gift directly funds programs that support the advancement of innovation in education.
This holiday season, please keep CFF in mind in your charitable giving. We ask that you learn more about the ways to donate and consider making an donation by December 31st. All monetary donations are tax-deductible.
Also, please check out our crowd-funding page to support teachers this holiday season – it’s just one more way you can make a difference:
When you sit down to celebrate the holidays this year, please know that your generosity has helped teachers and students across this County. Thank you for your help in creating innovative learning environments in our public schools and career pathway opportunities for students.
